General Description
The Savoca Agriturismo is situated in Piazza Armerina in the heart of Sicily near Caltanisetta, Catania, Enna and Ragusa.
The hotel is set in a 19th century farmhouse within an archeological site and provides the perfect location for a pleasant break within the peace and tranquility of nature, far away from the chaos and stress of everyday life.
The agriturismo is surrounded by verdant Sicilian countryside and has a large campsite, swimming pool with sulphurous water, an area for archery, a poplar wood for relaxing walks or horserides and an area where you can pick the best fresh local produce like mushrooms and forest fruits as well as a natural spring.
In addition the agriturismo also offers cooking courses which teach all the secrets of Sicilian cuisine using traditional family recipies.
The farm produces local agricultural products like wine, organic oil, produce from controlled growing and breeding like chickens, eggs and milk and traditional specialities like homemade liqueurs (limoncello - lemon liqueur, finocchietto - fennel liqueur, noceto - walnut liqueur and rosolio - rose petal liqueur).
