General Description
The Bed & Breakfast La Corte is a characteristic, country building located 4 km from the medieval walls of Lucca, in the peaceful surrounding countryside.
Sympathetically renovated in keeping with the original style, it has conserved the wooden ceilings and characteristic, country style arches typical of Lucca, and offers welcoming and functional surroundings in a landscape that is picturesque to say the least.
At just a short distance away, you can visit wonderful old villas such as Villa Mansi, Villa Reale and Villa Torrigiani; from the centre of Capannori, just 100 metres away, a shuttle service is available that runs to the centre of Lucca, or bus services that go to the cities of Florence, Pisa, Viareggio and Montecatini Terme.
The hotel has 4 comfortable rooms, a fully equipped kitchen that guests have free use of at any time of day and a private car park.

Breakfast is served by the owners, the Marchi family, in a large and romantic dining-lounge area in the winter and in an outdoor courtyard during the summer.
Local confectionery and delicious homemade marmalade are served.
At the B&B “La Corte”, which participates in the “Benvenuti in Toscana“ programme, you can find typical produce from Lucca such as oil, wine, marmalade and honey.
Luca and Giuseppe will be happy to recommend places where typical and authentic Tuscan cuisine can be enjoyed in the evening.

By car
A11 “Firenze –Mare” motorway, “Capannori” exit; proceed towards the north following the signs for Capannori. Go straight on along the Via della Madonnina provincial road, passing the level crossing and the traffic light. When you reach the roundabout, proceed towards Bagni di Lucca - Castelnuovo Garfagnana. After 300 metres, at the Agip petrol station, turn right into Via dei Marchi. The B&B “La Corte” is located at number 11.
From the centre of Lucca:
From the ring road that goes round the walls, proceed towards the east following the signs for Capannori - Altopascio/Pontedera - Pescia. Take Via Romana and continue for about 4 km until you reach the Antraccoli roundabout close to the Spiedo d’Oro restaurant. Proceed towards Bagni di Lucca - Castelnuovo G. After 300 metres, at the Agip petrol station, turn right into Via dei Marchi.
