The Capanna C.A.O. is an elegant hotel located just a few minutes away from Brunate and is ideal for a quiet, relaxing getaway far from the stress of the city.

How to reach the hotel

By car

Take the A8 Milano Laghi motorway to the Como Sud exit. Continue towards Como Centro, turning onto Via Pasquale Paoli until reaching Piazzale Camerlata (recognizable by the large fountain). Head straight on Via Napoleona following the directions towards the centre. Take Via Milano until reaching Piazza Porta Torre, turn right (mandatory turn), cross the grade, and head straight up the hill towards the town of Brunate without getting off the main road. Turn left at the junction for Brunate, go through town along the main road, cross Piazzale San Maurizio, and continue uphill until reaching the square with the small church.

By train

From Milan Cadorna Station, take the train on the Ferrovie Nord railway to Como Scalo Lago Station. From the station, (around 400m away), take the funicular railway to Brunate (7 minutes).

By plane

From Milan Malpensa International Airport (30km away), take the Malpensa Express train to Cadorna Station. From Cadorna, take the Ferrovie Nord Milano train to Como Scalo Lago Station.

From Milan Linate International Airport, take the 73 bus direct to San Babila. From San Babila, take the MM1 underground line (the red line) to Cadorna Station. From Cadorna, take the Ferrovie Nord Milano train to Como Scalo Lago Station.
