Domus Sessoriana, Rome

Domus Sessoriana is situated in Rome within an archaeological complex that preserves the remains of a Temple of Venus and Cupid, together with the splendid Castrense Amphitheater (currently containing the Cistercian Garden).

The Conventual wing, to the right of the Church front, is part of the ancient Monastery and is composed by 3 floors where the hall, refectory and finely furnished rooms of varying size are located.

The Aureliana wing, to the left of the Church front, is within a small palace extending towards the Imperial Amphitheater. It is composed by 5 floors, completely restored and tastefully furnished, connected with an internal lift. The rooms overlook the archaeological remains of the Constantine Imperial Villa, the Claudius Aqueduct and the enchanting Piazza di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, restored during the 2000 Jubilee.

From the panoramic terrace guests may enjoy a splendid view overlooking the Church of San Giovanni in Laterano, the Monastic gardens of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and the rooftops of Rome; on clear days the Roman Castles can also be admired.

The hotel has 60 rooms of various dimensions, including single, double, triple, quadruple, junior suites and suites.

Standard and Superior rooms, elegantly finished with precious furnishings and handicrafts offer air conditioning, satellite color TV, telephone, Internet access, bar fridge, safe, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Superior rooms, located on the first floor of the convent wing dating to the 17th century, have splendid vaulted ceilings, ample space and Wi-Fi Internet access.
