The Davini family has been managing the kitchen for over 30 years, offering exquisite dishes of the local tradition, prepared with local produce and meat from the mountain pastures.
The menu starts with the imaginative and original entrées, followed by typical first courses such as the Spelt Soup, the Spelt Tagliolini or the Porcini Mushroom ravioli; for the main course often lamb cooked on the coal or baked leg of veal is offered.
Amongst the choices for dessert are exquisite spelt cakes and berry pies.

From South:
A11 Motorway Firenze Mare, take the Lucca exit. Follow directions to Castelnuovo Garfagnana along Regional Road SR445. Continue towards Piazza al Serchio, then for other 10 km to Passo dei Carpinelli.
By train
