General Description
Hotel Cascina Canova is situated in an old farmhouse dating back to 1335, located half-way between Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, a short distance from Milan and the border with Switzerland.
Completely restructured in 2012, the original architecture and Corte Lombarda characteristics have been preserved.
For centuries, this was the centre of rural life and home to numerous agricultural families, the building is now a relaxing location full of tradition and history, surrounded by large green fields and woods where guests can go for walks or horse rides.

All the Superior and Executive rooms and the suites are situated in the old part of the building. A careful restoration has restored the building to its former glory which has maintained the original exposed beam ceilings and Lombard stone or parquet floors.
The Classic rooms are situated in the adjacent annexe.
All the rooms feature autonomous air conditioning and heating, an LCD screen satellite television, a minibar, a safe, high speed Internet access, a direct dial telephone and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a bathrobe and slippers.

Restaurant and bar
The "La Cascina" restaurant is split over two floors and has a maximum capacity of 600 people. It has two wood burning ovens which produce the best pizzas. Guests have access to a games room where children can play and have fun under the supervision of qualified staff.
The "La Cantina dei Vini" (wine cellar) is a characteristic spot where guests can sample the best of local and Italian wines accompanied by traditional local dishes.
"Bar Canova" is the perfect place for a short break either for coffee or aperitifs and other delicious suggestions from the barman.
The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
