General Description

Hotel Costa Doria is located in Castelsardo, a historic medieval village in the centre of the Gulf of Asinara.

With 900 years of history, Castelsardo is one of the most extraordinary examples of medieval architecture, still very well-cared for with the original appearance still intact.

Recently renovated, the hotel is 100 metres away from the beach and has 70 rooms, a country-style tavern, a pizza restaurant and a bar that also sells newspapers and tobacco.

Our friendly staff are always available to provide information about the main tourist attractions and can organise excursions to the most famous towns in the area upon request, including: Stintino, Alghero, La Maddalena and Caprera, the Islands of the Maddalenino Archipelago and the Emerald Coast.

A shuttle bus to and from the main airports is available, along with taxi services and car/motorbike hire.

Small pets are welcome.

How to reach the hotel

Hotel Costa Doria is in the seaside town of Castelsardo, 30km away from Porto Torres and 45km away from Alghero – Fertilia airport.

From Alghero/Fertilia

Take the SP34 provincial road towards Porto Torres. Cross the industrial area of Porto Torres and turn right at the end of the road heading towards Sassari.

Turn left at the traffic light towards Platamona/Castelsardo. At the end of the ring road, turn right onto the coast road heading towards Platamona/Castelsardo on the SS200 state road.

The hotel is located 300 metres away from the entrance to Lu Bagnu (hamlet of Castelsardo) on the SS200 state road.

From Porto Torres

Leave the city heading towards Platamona/Castelsardo. Take the SS200 coast road towards Castelsardo. The hotel is located 300 metres away from the entrance to Lu Bagnu (hamlet of Castelsardo) on the SS200 state road.

From Olbia

Take the SS127 state road towards Tempio. Go through Tempio and turn right heading towards Bortigiadas along the SP146 provincial road. Go through Bortigiadas following the signs for Santa Maria Coghinas. From Santa Maria Coghinas, continue towards Castelsardo on the SP33 provincial road and then on the SP13m provincial road for around 15km. Turn right and follow the signs for Lu Bagnu.
