Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze - Impruneta exit. Continue along the Siena expressway to the Colle Val D'Elsa Nord exit, and then head towards Volterra.

From the south:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Valdichiana exit. Head towards Siena, turn onto the Firenze expressway and continue until reaching the Colle Val D'Elsa Sud exit. From here, follow the directions for Volterra.
