General Description
The Hotel Santa Marina is found in a historic convent in a central area of Venice between Ponte di Rialto and Piazza San Marco, just a short distance from the Rialto steamboat station.
The rooms are elegant and classic with a warm and intimate atmosphere. The main characteristic of this hotel, the guest rooms are laid out on three floors and one wing includes a convenient lift.
The hotel is found in an excellent location close to the lagoon and is convenient for taking a boat to the islands of Murano, famous for glass, and Burano, famous for lace and typical sweets.
Guests can explore some of the sites that are less known to most tourists, making them more interesting and charming, such as the Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the Chiesa di Santa Maria Formos and the lovely Teatro Malibran.

Take the A4 Milano – Venezia motorway to the Venezia exit; follow the directions for the city, crossing Ponte della Libertà and reaching Piazzale Roma. Take the line 1 or 2 Vaporetto boat and get off at the Rialto stop. Continue on foot to Campo San Bortolomeo and Salizada San Lio until reaching Campo Santa Marina.
By train
From the Venezia - Santa Lucia train station, take the number 1 or 82 boat to the Rialto stop.
By plane
The local airport is Venice Marco Polo airport.
From the airport, take the Alilunga motorboat to the Fondamenta Nuova stop. Continue on foot to Campo Santa Marina.
Alternatively, water taxis are available directly to the hotel, and will arrive in around 30 minutes.
