Hotel Umbria is a recently built three star hotel situated in the centre of Otricoli, (known in ancient times as Ocriculum), one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in Italy, a short distance from Rome.

Built in an ex convent of Girolamini Sant'Onofrio alla Lugara monks, the building has a splendid panoramic view over the Tiber valley.

Restaurant and bar
The "Il Convento" restaurant is attached to the hotel and serves a generous menu featuring traditional Umbria dishes and grilled meat prepared on the large stove which dominates the main dining room. The restaurant also serves carefully prepared fish dishes which come direct from the fish market in Fiumicino as well as excellent pizzas baked in the wood fired oven.
The wine list includes the best of Umbrian wines as well as a large selection of Italian labels.
