La Casa Medioevale, Lamporecchio

The Casa Medioevale is an elegant early 14th century residence found in Lamporecchio nestled among the beautiful hills of Montalbano.

Surrounded by the beautiful greenery of old olive groves, this historic feudal residence belonged to the Rospigliosi and has been renovated by a careful restoration of the original materials, blending beautifully with the surrounding environment.

On the ground floor of the hotel, there is a spacious Tuscan salon with a wood kitchen and a welcoming library found in the old cellar. The upper floor has 6 guest rooms dedicated to Medieval authors of Tuscan literature.

From the beautiful garden terrace, guests can take in a breathtaking panoramic view while the garden surrounding the house allows them to enjoy the fragrances of lavender, rosemary and thyme and relax in the shade of olive trees.

Those who love sports can easily reach the golf courses nearby, and children can enjoy themselves with entertainment staff. Baby sitting service is available day and night upon request.

The Cino da Pistoia, Leonardo da Vinci and Petrarca guest rooms are characterised by exposed brick walls.

The Dante Alighieri guest room has a lovely view of the valley and was painted with rollers in 1930's style.

The Cecco Angiolieri guest room is spacious and elegant and has a large shower.

The Boccaccio guest room has a breathtaking view and a ceiling that has been completely restored with beams.

The characteristic apartment has terracotta floors and is found in the historic pigsty (measuring 70 square metres). It has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, a living room with a kitchen and an en suite bathroom.
