General Description

Hotel La Miniera is located in the heart of the Tuscany region, it takes its name from the ancient copper mine, the most important in Europe, only a short walk from the village of Montecatini Val di Cecina.

From the A1 motorway, take the exit for Firenze Certosa. Continue along the SSE76 state road to Siena until you reach Colle Val d'Elsa and follow signs for Volterra SR68.

From Volterra continue towards Cecina, then towards Montecatini Val di Cecina.

- From the A12 Genova - Livorno motorway, take the exit for Vada - Rosignano. Continue along the Aurelia E80 road towards Grosseto until you reach the exit for Cecina Nord.

Continue towards Volterra until you reach Ponteginori, after approximately 2 km, turn left towards Montecatini Val di Cecina.

From Grosseto:

From the Aurelia E80 road continue towards Livorno until you reach the exit for Cecina Centro.

Continue towards Volterra until you reach Ponteginori, after approximately 2 km turn left towards Montecatini Val di Cecina.

By train

Cecina train station is on all the main regional lines.

By plane

From Pisa “Galileo Galilei” Airport, continue towards "Firenze" until you reach the exit for Pontedera - Volterra.
