Restaurant and bar
The scenario is Ibla, in the old part of Ragusa, rich with churches and baroque buildings, some of which are hidden in very narrow and alluring alleyways that can only be used by pedestrians. The new establishment run by Antonio and Giuseppe La Rosa is located right in the heart of the Baroque, in the ancient stables of an old noble palace.
Perfectly renovated, the rooms house a wine bar, an American Bar and a Cigar List. But the gastronomic proposal plays the leading role, with a menu based on fish and meat, an interesting wine list that includes at least 700 wines and the Oil List.
The strictly local cuisine is elegantly presented, Mackerel terrine with courgettes and Capuliatu, Carrubo Ravioli stuffed with Ragusano, Bitter cocoa lasagnetta with Iblea ricotta, Carrubo Tagliolini with Tuna Botargo and cherry tomatoes, Rabbit stuffed with Bronte pistachios and bacon, Thinly sliced yellow fin tuna on Caponatina Modicana, Dessert of Ragusano D.O.P. on puff pastry and thyme honey, these are just some of the dishes that the Chef Vincenzo Candiano proposes according to the season.
Breakfast room and bar: breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Sweet and Savoury, mostly with typical regional products.

Car/Plane: from Catania Fontanarossa airport take the “S.S. 514” road to the “Ragusa Ovest” exit.
From Viale delle Americhe continue along Viale Europa then Corso Italia until you reach Piazza della Repubblica at Ragusa Ibla.
From Piazza della Repubblica take the direction for Via del Mercato. The hotel is on the first road on the right, 15 Via XI Febbraio.
