This hotel is the perfect place to spend a lovely cultural holiday exploring the museums, piazzas and churches of Florence; it is also an excellent base for those in town on business, located just a short distance from the conference centre, Fortezza da Basso (the exhibition centre), and Santa Maria Novella Central Station.
Since November 2009, the Hotel Loggia Fiorentina has been under new management and was completely renovated. It offers a unique atmosphere with coloured walls and contemporary and modern art.

How to reach the hotel
By car
From the A1 Milano – Napoli motorway, take the Firenze Sud exit and take the SP127 provincial road; turn left onto Via Enrico De Nicola and at the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Lungarno Aldo Moro.
Continue along Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo and Lungarno del Tempio, turn right onto Viale Giovanni Amendola, continue along Viali di Circonvallazione and go past Piazza Beccaria and Piazzale Donatello. Upon reaching Piazza della Libertà, keep to the right and take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico.
Turn left at the traffic light, continue straight crossing Viale Spartaco Lavagnini until reaching Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria; take the first left onto Via delle Ruote, take the second right onto Via Santa Reparata, turn left at the stop sign onto Via XXVII Aprile and then left again until reaching Via San Gallo, where the hotel is located after 5m.
From the Firenze Nord exit, follow the directions for Aeroporto/Centro/Stazione, take Viale Guidoni, turn right onto Via Forlanini, take the second exit at the traffic circle onto Via di Novoli and continue along Viale Redi.
At the beginning of Viale Belfiore, turn left onto Via Guido Monaco, then left again along Viale Strozzi keeping to the right, and continue along Viale Spartaco Lavagnini.
Turn right as soon as possible onto Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria towards Stazione/Mercato Centrale, take the first left onto Via delle Ruote, take the second right onto Via Santa Reparata, turn left at the stop sign onto Via XXVII Aprile and then left again onto Via San Gallo 50m from the hotel.
By train
The Hotel Loggia Fiorentina can be reached in 10 minutes on foot from Santa Maria Novella Central Station; exit the railway station (by the pharmacy) heading right towards the Piazza and take the first left onto Largo Alinari, which leads to Via Nazionale.
Go to the end of the street and turn right onto Via XXVII Aprile to Piazza Indipendenza; continue towards Piazza San Marco, take the last street on the left, Via San Gallo, and the hotel is located after a few metres on the left.
Alternatively, take a taxi to the hotel.
By plane
From Florence – Peretola Airport around 6km away from the hotel, take a taxi or the bus directly to Santa Maria Novella Station and then follow the directions above.
From Pisa Airport, go to Pisa Station, take the regional train directly to Florence and follow the directions above.
