General Description
The Omu Axiu ‘diffused’ hotel features two adjoining buildings, one of which is an ethnographic and knitting museum, the other having been restored, is dedicated to hospitality and offers modern and spacious rooms.
On the guided tour of the museum guests discover the areas that were used in the past to store agricultural equipment, rooms with bread ovens and the cellar where the full bodied cannonau wines were stored.
Omu Axiu is a real living museum; skillful hands prepare all produce enjoyed by guests in the internal restaurant.

The restaurant area encompasses an interior hall used in the past to grind cereals and an outdoor arched gallery.
For lunch and dinner guests may enjoy hors d'oeuvres based on cheese and seasoned cured meats, bread baked in the wood-fired ovens, durum wheat pasta, local meat and game cooked on the spit or boiled and sweets from rural tradition based on ricotta cheese.
Home made red wines and sweet wines accompany all dishes.
Ladies dressed with traditional costumes of the 1800s will serve at the table.
