Parco Vacanze Il Veliero, Follonica

The Il Veliero Residence Complex was opened in Summer 2004 and is set in a large plain near Via Aurelia and the railway, a short distance from the lively centre of Follonica and near a costline full of splendid beaches.

The complex, equipped with all the facilities of a four star campsite, offers the chance to spend a holiday filled with a limitless choice of activities for a relaxing break.

The complex's convenient position makes it the perfect choice for visiting the artistic attractions of historic cities such as Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena and all the islands on the Tuscan peninsula.

Available for guest use is a small supermarket, a children's play area, 2 large well-equipped swimming pools with sun beds and umbrellas, a children's pool, TV lounge with satellite TV, a private beach with no beach furniture 800 metres away, an all terrain tennis court and a health spa with jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, rain shower and a small well-equipped gym.

During the Summer, a professional team of entertainers lighten the mood with organised aerobics classes, acquagym, group dances, football tournaments, ping-pong, tennis, cabaret, evening shows, parties and dancing.

Guests are asked to note that during certain times of the year, the Parco Vacanze Il Veliero can only accept bookings of 7 nights or more.

The 101 fully furnished bungalows are made up of a spacious lounge with kitchenette and double sofabed, double room, twin room with bunkbed (in the 3-roomed bunglaows), colour television, porch with balcony equipped with table and chairs and en suite bathroom with shower.

Each bungalow has its own private parking space.
