The Santa Margherita is an inviting accommodation complex located in Gioiosa Marea in a privileged position close to the sea and a short distance from Capo Calavà, Tindari and Milazzo.

In a suggestive setting with a fantastic view of the islands of Eolie, the entire complex (Hotel, Agro-tourism, Bed and Breakfast and Apartments) represents the ideal base for reaching beautiful beaches and for visiting the ancient Greek colony of Tindari (including its archaeological area, Greek-Roman theatre, the Basilica and the Roman Villa), the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna and the splendid brackish pond of "Marinello."

Available for clients use are various type apartments (two-roomed, three roomed and apartments complete with a kitchen hob), 25 rooms including singles, doubles/twins, triples and quadruples, all with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a Restaurant, a swimming pool, a tennis court, horseback riding, mountain biking, trekking (nature trails), an agreement with a fully equipped bathing establishment at a mere 3 km distance, an agreement with excursion companies for the islands of Eolie, a playground for children and guarded car park.

The islands of Eolie can be reached in less than an hour by boat from Gioiosa Marea or Milazzo, whilst Cefalù and Taormina are located approximately one hour by car.

By departing in the morning and driving for several hours, it is also possible to visit Palermo, Monreale, Erice, Selinunte, Segesta, Agrigento, and the Valley of the Temples, the splendid volcano of Etna, Piazza Armerina, Syracuse, Noto, and other splendid locations of Sicily.

The "Superior" rooms were realised in 1998 for a demanding clientele that expects a holiday in maximum comfort. Spacious and elegant in their décor with attention to the minutest detail, the rooms are decorated with artistic designs and feature en-suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer, colour TV, centralized heating, safe-deposit box, refrigerated mini-bar, complimentary private car park and a terrace or balcony with a splendid view of the islands of Eolie.

The “Standard” rooms have a smaller dimension with respect to the “Superior” rooms and feature en-suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer, colour TV, refrigerated mini-bar, centralized heating, safe deposit box, complimentary private car park and an independent terrace or balcony with a splendid view of the islands of Eolie.
