General Description
Villa Gussio-Nicoletti is set in an 18th century period building, recognised as a listed building and situated in the green heart of Sicily between the Enna hills and many natural parks.
The villa has 5 museum rooms on the "piano nobile", all differing in style, elegantly decorated with frescoes and original stucco on the vaulted ceilings with prints, damasks and boiserie wood panels on the walls, period furniture, an array of glass, porcelain and silverware, and splendid antique ornaments.
The villa has 47 rooms and 2 suites, a museum come restaurant, a bar - winebar, a trattoria - pizzeria with a wood burning oven, a reading room, conference room, spa, 2 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts.

All the rooms have been elegantly decorated in traditional classic style and have a carpet, pretty wallpaper, colour television, climate control, Internet connection and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries.
The rooms are divided in to Standard and Junior suites, the latter come with a jacuzzi and a small study area.

Restaurant and bar
The "Torchio Di Catone" restaurant, finished in stone, terracotta and wood, is a permanent exhibition dedicated to farming life, around the clearly visible old grape press carved in to the floor, the must fermentation bowl and an old press made from a single pine trunk.
"Le Cantine Del Barone" restaurant, characterised by its old imposing cross - vaulted ceilings and stone arches, is where the Gussio family's huge wine barrels are kept.
The wine bar has 2 small cellars which contain some of the best local wines. The ideal place for an aperitif, after dinner drink or a Sicilian fruit herbal tea, guests can sit back and relax in a typically Mediterranean atmosphere on the characteristic mezzanine floor. Here the staff organise wine, oil, cheese and herbal tea tastings.
The "La Corte del Baglio" trattoria - pizzeria has a wood burning oven and separate fully equipped kitchen that serves traditional Sicilian dishes.
