The manager of the hotel was helpful in picking us up from Arona railway station and taking us next morning to Milan Malpensa airport. Breakfast was very poor - worst in our whole stay in Italy.
He recommended a restaurant to go to the night we were there and it was a magnificent meal in lovely surroundings. This was the best part of our stay in Varallo Pombia. Apparently a lot of people come here from Milan to eat.
