Reviews Caveoso Hotel - Matera

L'hotel trae senz'altro giovamento dalla posizione ed è un buon hotel. Tuttavia ci si aspetterebbe qualcosa di più dal punto di vista della formalità e dei servizi: all'arrivo, per esempio, nonostante sia necessario percorrere una scalinata per arrivare alla reception (l'hotel non è sulla strada e fermarsi con l'auto non è agevole), non ci è stata nemmeno offerta assistenza con i bagagli. Anche la colazione è troppo scarna per un hotel di questa categoria.

Non ho trovato in camera il televisore però esistevano i cavi. Il televisore funzionante solo nella sala colazione a grande schermo ma visibile il mattino. La camera a piano terra con finestra impossibile aprire causa zanzariera rotta.

Passare quindi il dopo cena a contar le pecore non è stato piacevole. quello che ha dato ancor più disturbo è stata la giustificazione del gestore (penso) che era colpa del satellitare. Comunque io nonostante il disagio ho pagato ugualmente 90 euro.

Esperienza da ben ricordare e possibilmente da ripetere!

Sehr schlechtes Frühstück und kein Service

The hotel is built into the side of a mountain and each room is cut into the rock. Very unique and interesting design and layout. The staff was friendly and the price of the the room was comparable to the surrounding hotels. My only real complaints are the walls are blown concrete which causes excessive dust requiring a lot of cleaning by the maid services. This is likely why the nooks of the room were in bad shape. Also, because the room is built into rock, it's very damp. The dehumidifier in the room filled up fast and turned off at night causing that damp feeling by morning. Overall I liked the hotel for it's novelty and would stay there again if we return to Matera.

We would be happy to go back.
