Second visit in 18 months to the hotel. This time I stayed 20 nights in a single room - last time 8 nights in a twin share. Features of hotel are: very close to train station and comfortable walking distance to city center; clean and relatively up to date furnishings; free car parking alongside hotel; breakfast included in room rate; helpful staff; Things for the hotel to improve on include: Internet is cable connected only, wifi availability would be convenient; I had an in-bath shower but there was no shower curtain so floor got fully wet. Note that not all rooms have in-bath showers. TV is small screen and I had an issue twice with it getting stuck whilst surfing channels. Overall, the hotel is good value and I would recommend it.

Per essere un 4 stelle, la televisione non funzionava, l'aria condizionata non era regolabile, l'acqua del water non caricava e' ho dovuto smontare il contenitore dello scarico ogni volta, l'acqua del lavandino e della doccia non scaricava. Un 4 stelle dovrebbe essere tenuto meglio.

Ambiente sereno e tranquillo.

Did not get alarm call asked for and plumbing in bathroom very noisy. (Dripping sound and gurgling in the ceiling)

My sister and I stayed in a twin share room at this hotel for 6 nights. We travelled from Australia to visit extended family in Benevento and to see the sights of the Campania region. The hotel suited our requirements perfectly. The hotel provided a great 'home base'. The rooms were clean with modern facilities, although the TV was a little on the small side. Secure car parking is provided immediately adjacent to the hotel. Cable internet is available in the room free of charge, which was very convenient for our tourist related research, as was the friendly staff's guidance. The breakfast selection is generous and provided a great start to the day. The location of the hotel is a little out of the centre but close to the central rail station. So if travelling by train it is superb. Benevento is a small city so the walk from the hotel to the centre is easily completed in 20 minutes. Overall, we found the experience of staying at the Hotel Grand Italiano to be most enjoyable.

Hotel hat keine vier Sterne verdient. Insbesondere könnte das Personal an der Rezeption freundlicher sein.
