Se si vuole fare una passeggiata sul lungomare, al ritorno ci aspetta una bella salita. Alcune camere sono in seminterrato con la finestra a livello strada che affaccia sul muro di sostegno dell'edificio vicino a circa 2 m di distanza. Ci è capitata una di queste e, dopo aver reclamato, solo la seconda notte ci hanno cambiato camera. Pur avendo scelto l'hotel Ariston per la sua posizione e per la qualità della struttura, siamo rimasti delusi per la stanza che inizialmente ci hanno assegnato.

Familienbetrieb, in dem tatsächlich alle - vom Opa bis zum Enkel, Eltern, Geschwister und Ehepartner - mit viel Liebe und Engagement mitarbeiten. Den Gästen werden die Wünsche von den Lippen abgelesen, alle reißen sich ein Bein aus, damit alles klappt. Das Auto wird in die Garage gefahren (im Haus!), Koffer werden ins Zimmer gebracht, und Trinkgeld wird nicht angenommen! (Kommentar: Nein Danke, ich habe es gerne getan!) Alles in allem, ein liebenswertes kleines Hotel, das perfekt wäre, wenn es nicht - leider - nur saisonal von März bis Oktober arbeiten würde. Da wir aber oft auch in den Wintermonaten in Italien unterwegs sind, werden wir es nicht immer nutzen können. Sonst gibt es in Imperia für uns nur noch das Ariston!
