The hotel is comfortable and the staff very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful with a fantastic view over Rome.
The hotel could use some fixing-up. Carpets and bedding could be refreshed.
But overall very good.

The employees were wonderful, helpful, nice and efficient.
The problem is with the hotel. It does not have the quality of a 4 star hotel. For example, the air conditioning doesn't work well. The lights are not bright enough to read at night. The carpeting and furniture is old. The internet does not work in the rooms.
We are at a 3 star hotel in Florence right now. It is superior in many ways to the Eliseo and yet the Eliseo says it is 4 star. I think that they should invest in improving the hotel Eliseo.

La colazione è scadente ed ho dovuto chiedere per tre volte un caffè espresso prima di essere servito perchè altrimenti mi sarei dovuto accontentare del servizio (inaccettabile per noi italiani) della macchina erogratrice di bevande.
Nei bagni, anche se ho apprezzato molto la presenza della finestra, cosa molto rara negli alberghi di città, manca una mensola su cui appoggiare gli accessori ed anche un porta asciugamani da bidet.
