Cherasco is a friendly little town perched at the top of a mountain that you must take a winding road up to reach. The Hotel Somachi is in a portion of a converted monastery that sits at the edge of the small town overlooking a valley. We upgraded to a suite and were pleasantly surprised that in addition to a sitting room we had 2 bathrooms! This hotel makes for a excellent place to explore the neighboring wine country. Wish we had more than 2 days stay. We did arrived late at night and had some difficulty finding the entrance as it is on a one way street and the Navi could not figure it out. Breakfast in the basement was okay, not great and there was a bit of a language problem, and you can get eggs to order.

Hotel calme et bien insonorisé, le petit déjeuner est un peu simple à notre goût.

Malgré quelques détails négatifs (poubelle non vidée, éclairage défectueux,etc), c'est un hôtel à recommander. Chambres parfaitement équipées, luxueuses, très spacieuses et confortables. Petit-déjeuner buffet très satisfaisant. Je regrette l'absence totale d'informations à l'accueil sur les services de l'hôtel.
La seule différence entre les chambres et les suites est que les suites sont situées au rdc, et ouvrent donc sur une petite terrasse. Sinon, ce sont les mêmes. Certaines chambres sont même plus spacieuses que les suites.
