Reviews Hotel Villa Pandora - Maiori

The single room was extremely small, if I had known I would never have booked however the owner offered another room in a nearby hotel which was further from town so I declined. I was going to change hotels to one closer into town with bigger room etc after the first night and owner was fine with me doing so and said he would only charge me two nights (which I was fine with and agreed to). In the end I cut short my stay to visit relatives. The owner and staff were exceptional in their friendliness and service. The room was more like a corridor/hallway size and way too small for comfort in my opinion!

The hotel had no restaurant, no lunch, no dinner, this was a surprise and caused problems, the hotel offered transport to Maiori, but I felt obliged to eat at the restaurant we were driven to nice view and sun deck.

No reply to the 'Restaurant & bar' question as there was just breakfast on an open air terrace, (very pleasant because of the setting). The worst feature was parking, a very tight hole hacked out of the rock under the hotel that could accommodate 2 cars and a parking area down the road at the bottom of a rough track that was impossible to find unless you knew it was there and even then looked like it belonged to another hotel or house. Hotel staff dealt with shuffling cars about between the two locations, so not a problem once you knew where to park. However, on arrival and after a pass in both directions, we dumped the car half a mile up the (narrow, twisting Amalfi coast) road, walked to the hotel with our hand luggage and fetched the car later.

Improvement to the direction to the hotel would be valuable

L' albergo è in una posizione splendida anche se un pò lontano dal centro abitato, i collegamenti pubblici molto efficienti.

La categoria quattro stelle non corrisponde, noi avevamo una doppia (due letti singoli) e lo spazio fra un letto e l' altro era di 20 cm, il comodino era verso la parete, le dimensioni erano di una doppia uso singola standard considerando gli spazi complessivi della camera (ho le foto se le desiderate), avendo prenotato una superior. Ho chiesto uno sconto e mi è stato risposto che quella era una superior...chissà com' è la standard!

Mancava l' accappatoio, telo per solarium ed altri comfort di un quattro stelle...in bagno solo sapone e doccia shampoo.

La colazione decisamente scarsa, oltretutto niente pane e cibi salati.

L'unico neo: mancanza connessione Wi-Fi.
