There is a lot of papaer money from different countries presented in the lobby, it's impressive that they can collect so much type of money

The hotel was very good.

We could hear people in the room next door and their bathroom was next to our bed so we heard them using it throughout the night. The people at the desk said their was a free shuttle to the airport but then said it was full and after repeated enquiries we got a lift via the shuttle. We were told that since we had got a reduced rate by booking on-line we could pay our own taxi to the airport!

I didn't succeed in connecting to the Internet

Really nice hotel, but be careful if you need to get early at the airport: the first shuttle leaves the hotel at 07:00 am, not before.

As well as if you would like to get an early breakfast: not before 06:45 am, officially.

But they are really nice, and would offer you a cappucino with a brioche while you wait for the shuttle...

About the transportation from Malpensa Airport. I took a cab from the airport. The driver did not like a short drive to Gallarate, so he complained ( I suppose ) and drove roughly, then finally he covered the fare meter with his hand and erased the fare, asked me 30 euros for fare. It costs 20 euros usually.

The hotel itself is not bad. But transportation from / to the airport is quite limited, they had airport suttle service by 10 o'clock am, none in the afternoon time.

I must say it was really poor for the transportation for the guests.

To think about the poor transportation and that distance, I WIIL NOT choose that hotel again for transit.

We loved Gallarte!!!!! The hotel was modest, clean, the staff was superb;

most helpful. The room was very small but comfortable. Should we come

again to Gallarte, we would stay in the Hotel Astoria, Grazie!
