Gallarate was an unexpectedly pleasant stop. It was scheduled as we had an early flight out from the airport, but it turned out to be one of the more enjoyable experiences in our stay in Italy. A leisurely Sunday afternoon stroll around the town yielded several excellent stops at the local bar and a pizza parlor less than half a block from the hotel that served the best pizza we've had anywhere. The hotel was well located and we would be delighted to return to it should our travels take us anywhere in the area in future.
A small suggestion: do highlight the train/metro transit options that are available as it would appear that the train runs straight to Gallarate - it might be easier for travellers to take the local train rather than express buses to the airport when travelling to the hotel first.
