Reviews Hotel Chicago - Rome

My aunt and I stayed in the Hotel Chicago from the 18th to 25th June 2010. This was my 4th trip to Rome and this hotel surpassed all my expectations of a 'value for money' vacation in Rome! IThe staff in the hotel, Robert, Domenico and Imran, were extremely courteous and friendly, nothing, within their remit, was toomuch trouble and I attribute a very memorable week in Rome to them. Our room was spotless, bedlinen and towels changed regularly. Breakfast excellent compared to other more expensive hotels I've stayed in. Hotel security excellent and there is a hairdressers located within the grounds! The hotel is ideally situated for the avid tourist as it is within walking distance of the Colosseum and other main sightseeing attractions. For those who enjoy shopping, again, you have two main high streets on your doorstep, Via Cavour and Via Nazionale. With the main train and bus station located at the top of the street my aunt and I were able to tour the city of Rome with ease and very little expense. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone venturing on a roman holiday and I hope one day to return to it again. I would give this hotel 10/10

Camera piccola e stretta con piccolo bagno senza bidet.

Sala per la prima colazione con solo tre tavolini per cui bisogna fare a turno.

Colazione scarsa.

It has only three tables for breakfast. It was unconfortable.

The hotel didn't accept to be paid by credit card. They said they had problem with their device and could not accept my visa card. Then we had to take cash from a cashier. If they don't accept credit cards, they should say it in advance, not on the very last day

On nous a presenté une chambre vraiment petite et pas conforme aux presentations avec un tout petit lit (mon compagnon est très grand) j'ai demandé une autre chambre et on nous a donné une chambre très agréable dans une annexe deux rues plus loin. Nous avons perdu un peu de temps pour ces changements mais ça valait la peine. Personnel tres sympathique et désireux de faire plaisir. Le quartier n'est pas le plus beau mais près de la gare et des bus. Chambre calme car donnant sur une cour et quelques bons restos dans le coin.

Aver scelto questo albergo si è rivelata un'ottima scelta. Confortevole, pulito e con il personale disponibilissimo a tutte le richieste, il soggiorno è stato bellissimo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo ,la colazione abbondante anche se in una sala molto piccola (i titolari però offrono la colazione in camera se nella sala è tutto occupato) e la disponibilità del personale è eccellente.

La descrizione del sito è fedele e dovendo ritornare a Roma prenoterei di nuovo nello stesso albergo. jury 74.

Camera senza finestra con solamente un finestrino nella porta...

Ma chambre à l'Hôtel s'est montrée très (même trop) bruyante.

Le personnel est excellent et m'a changé de chambre.
