The rooms have been decorated in a simple style and feature parquet floors, all have a direct dial telephone, a colour television and an en suite bathroom with a small shower (with no cubicle).

The La Fortezza restaurant has the pleasure of welcoming guests in to its splendid medieval setting built on Roman foundations.

Opened in the 1960's by the Chiocchetti family; it serves today - as it has since it opened - excellent traditional local cuisine.

Arriving from Assisi, continue towards the centre until you reach the hotel - even though the hotel is in the limited traffic area.

Continue towards the car parks:

There are three parking options:

- public secure car park - charges apply, 350 metres from the hotel (€10 per day);

- private car park - charges apply approximately 350 metres from the hotel (€5);

- free unsupervised car park in the historic city centre 350 metres from the hotel (free).

By train

From Assisi train station - which is 4 km from the hotel, take a taxi or bus C and alight at Piazza Matteotti.

Continue on foot towards the centre and once you pass the Duomo - Cathedral (San Rufino church) you will find Piazza San Rufino. The hotel is at 19/B Vicolo della Fortezza.

By plane

Umbria International Airport is 11 km from Assisi.
