Hotel Piccolo Borgo, Rzym

The Hotel Piccolo Borgo is located in the centre of the area that the Romans themselves called Old Rome, and is surrounded by one of the largest open-air museums in Europe.

This natural wonder formed by Appia Antica park and Parco degli Acquedotti is found close to the historic village of Capanelle.

Made into a hotel in 2004, this beautiful building still maintains the mystic atmosphere of the original structure thanks to expert renovations that have increased the historic value of the structure.

The hotel consists of several different buildings: the old stables dating back to the early 1900's with a horseshoe layout house the double and triple rooms; the deconsecrated church of Sant'Antonio dating back to the 1800's was renovated and restructured to house the hall, the breakfast room, the meeting room, 4 single rooms (on the lower level) and 2 suites with the elegant club house (on the upper floor).

The 31 bedrooms are divided into single, double and triple rooms, and are all equipped with every comfort, including a private entrance that leads to a garden.

The décor was selected to create a unique sensory experience. Warm orange and red tones are used in some rooms, while other are decorated in cooler, soothing hues of blue and navy.

Guests can chose the colour scheme they find most appealing as a sort of chromotherapy to ensure that they enjoy complete relaxation and a deep sense of wellbeing.

The 2 Suites also have plasma colour televisions and bathtubs with massage jets.
