Abbadia di Piazza is located in the immediate vicinity of the town of Gubbio over 700m above sea level with a breathtaking view of the Umbrian and Tuscan hills, in a peaceful and private location.
Built in the 12th century, it originally defended the territory of Eugubino, then became a monastery, and finally a residence for important local families.
After undergoing substantial renovations and restorations while maintaining typical medieval characteristics, it is currently a characteristic family-run vacation house.
The hotel has a lovely swimming pool with a breathtaking panoramic view, a spacious playground for children, pleasant trails for hiking or taking a walk surrounded by nature, a convenient parking lot and a comfortable reading room.

Take the A14 Autostrada Del Sole Bologna – Ancona motorway to the Fano exit. Continue along the SSE45 state road towards Roma and upon reaching Gubbio, follow the directions for Umbertide. Upon arriving in Mocaiana, head towards Loreto, then to Abbadia di Piazza.
From the south
Take the A1 Roma- Firenze motorway to the Orte exit. Take the SSE45 state road towards Perugia and exit at Bosco - Gubbio. Follow the directions for Città di Castello and upon arriving in Mocaiana, head towards Loreto, then to Abbadia di Piazza.
