- Take the A12 Genova – Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit; continue along the SS Aurelia state road until reaching Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, head to Piombino Marittima.
- Take the A1 Bologna - Firenze - Pisa - Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit, continue along the SS Aurelia state road to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, head to Piombino Marittima.
- Take the Strada di Grande Comunicazione Firenze - Pisa - Livorno road to the Firenze - Scandicci exit.
Head towards Collesalvetti and get back on the motorway until reaching Rosignano Marittima; take the expressway to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, go to Piombino Marittima.
- Take the A12 Roma – Grosseto motorway to the SS Aurelia state road, getting off at the Venturina - Isola d'Elba exit; continue to Piombino Marittima.
From Piombino Marittima, take the boat to Portoferraio.
