Casa Svizzera Agriturismo, Barolo

Casa Svizzera Agriturismo is situated in the old headquarters of the bottling plant of the Cantina Sociale di Barolo, and owes its name to the decor of the house which resembles a Swiss chalet.

The agritourism's rooms are situated in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Barolo, easily reachable by car thanks to a private road with a car park. This little medieval village exists as a sort of capital of the wine producing area, surrounded by gorgeous hills in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. From here guests can go for pleasant trips to discover the Langhe valley which is full of history, culture and excellent food and wine, or visit the Falletti di Barolo castle which is now the home of the National Wine Museum "WiMu", the original "bottle top museum" or take one of the "Sentieri del Barolo" or paths of Barolo which cross the splendid vineyards surrounded by the landscapes of Langa.

Guests are welcomed into a pleasant, friendly atmosphere guaranteeing them a pleasant stay.

There is the opportunity to participate in wine tastings and visit the vineyards and all the local wine producing and fermenting areas in the wine cellar which is based in Annunziata di La Morra.

The rooms have been finished with fine attention to detail to ensure they are welcoming, warm and elegant, they feature wooden floors and design features to guarantee guests the maximum comfort.

All the rooms have a balcony, a relaxation corner with free hot drinks and snacks, a colour satellite television, a minibar and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.
