Isola d'Elba can be reached from the ferry port of Piombino Marittima taking the ferry services provided by Toremar and Moby Lines.
There is a fast hydrofoil service for passengers only, which reaches Portoferraio in just 35 minutes.
The Hotel Fabricia is a 10 minute drive from Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro.
By car
Take the A12 Genova – Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit. Take the SS Aurelia state road to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and then proceed to Piombino Marittima.
Take the A1 Bologna – Firenze – Pisa – Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit. Take the SS Aurelia state road to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and then proceed to Piombino Marittima.
Take the Strada di Grande Comunicazione Firenze - Pisa – Livorno arterial road to the Firenze - Scandicci exit. Head towards Collesalvetti and return to the motorway until reaching Rosignano Marittima. Take the clearway to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and then proceed to Piombino Marittima.
Take the A12 Roma – Grosseto motorway to the SS Aurelia state road, and take the Venturina - Isola d'Elba exit. Proceed to Piombino Marittima.
From Portoferraio
Follow the signs marked Tutte le Direzioni. At the third traffic circle, take the provincial road towards Porto Azzurro. After passing the remains of Villa Romana delle Grotte, turn left at the junction for Bagnaia. The hotel is 3km further down on the left.
From Porto Azzurro
Follow the signs for Portoferraio. Go past the junction for Lacona until reaching the junction for Bagnaia. The hotel is 3km further down on the left.
