How to reach the hotel
By car
Take the A14 Adriatica motorway to the Bari Nord exit. Continue along the A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria motorway to the Sicignano exit. Continue along the SS106 Taranto - Reggio Calabria state road until reaching the Metaponto – Matera exit.
Upon reaching Matera, descend through the rocks to Piazza San Pietro Caveoso - Madonna dell'Idris. The hotel reception is located just a few metres away from the piazza.
By train
The national railway system does not go directly to the city of Matera. The most convenient alternative is the nearby Ferrandina Scalo station (35km away), or the Bari station (66km away).

By bus

The Autolinee Marozzi and Liscio bus lines connect the city to Rome, Florence, Pisa and Siena with two trips during the day and one at night.
