By car

- Take the A12 Genova - Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit; continue along the SS Aurelia state road to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, continue to Piombino Marittima.

- Take the A1 Bologna - Firenze - Pisa - Livorno motorway to the Rosignano exit; continue along the SS Aurelia state road until reaching Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, continue to Piombino Marittima.

- Take the Strada di Grande Comunicazione Firenze - Pisa – Livorno connecting road to the Firenze - Scandicci exit. Continue towards Collesalvetti and get back on the motorway until reaching Rosignano Marittima; take the expressway to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and from here, continue to Piombino Marittima.

- Take the A12 Roma – Grosseto motorway to the SS Aurelia state road, getting off at the Venturina - Isola d'Elba exit; continue to Piombino Marittima.

From Piombino Marittima, board the ship for Portoferraio. Follow the directions for Capoliveri, then for Pareti.

By train

The closest railway station to the ferryboat dock is the Piombino Marittima station.

By plane

Marina di Campo La Pila Airport is connected by numerous flights during the summer operated by both Italian and foreign airlines.
