Hotel Tramonto D'Oro, Praiano

The Hotel Tramonto D'Oro is situated in Praiano between Amalfi and Positano in the heart of the famous Amalfi Coast.

Centrally located yet peaceful, the hotel is typically Mediterranean in style and is a perfect example of the impressive local architectural skills as it blends perfectly with the surrounding flora which has been declared a World heritage site.

The Tramonto d'Oro's history dates back to 1952 when Donato Esposito and his sister Carmelina opened their bar, Tramonto D'Oro, which was then converted into a restaurant and finally into its current incarnation as a hotel.

The Esposito family is still in charge of the establishment which is continuously developing and improving to make it ever more welcoming and efficient, so it can maintain the high quality service and hospitality it has always offered to its guests.

The hotel has a roof top swimming pool (open from May to October), gym with state-of-the-art “Technogym” equipment, Turkish bath decorated with a hand-crafted mosaique and a Finnish sauna.

The Tramonto d'Oro Hotel has 40 rooms, each one individually decorated; many feature local, hand-painted ceramics from Vietri.

All the rooms have a colour satellite television, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe and en suite bathroom with hairdryer.

Most rooms have a spectacular view overlooking the breathtaking scenery and colours of the sea and sky; the “Li Galli” Island (from the myth of Ulysee's sirens), Positano and Capri's famous Faraglioni.

The superior rooms have a balcony or terrace with a splendid view and many facilities including colour satellite television, air conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, safe and en suite bathroom with hairdryer.

- Deluxe Rooms

The deluxe rooms are large with a small lounge area, a private terrace, colour satellite television, air conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, en suite bathroom decorated with hand painted ceramic tiles from Vietri, some featuring a hydromassage bath or jacuzzi.
