By car

From the north

Take the A1 Milano - Napoli motorway and take the exit for Firenze Scandicci, then join the highway (Strada di Grande Comunicazione) Firenze - Pisa - Livorno towards Pisa. After approximately 26 km, take the exit for Empoli Ovest and join the 429 state road (SS 429) towards Ponte a Elsa - Castelfiorentino. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach Castefiorentino, then follow signs for Montaione for approximately 9 km.

From the A12 Genova - Roma motorway, continue towards La Spezia - Pisa - Rosignano M. and take the exit for Pisa Centro. Join the highway (Strada di Grande Comunicazione) Firenza - Pisa - Livorno towards Firenze.

Fast route

Take the exit for Santa Croce sull'Arno (the exit after Montopoli Caldarno) and follow the signs for Ponte a Egola and from here pass through the towns of La Serra and then Corazzano to reach Montaione.

Easy route

40 km after the Empoli Ovest exit (the exit after San Miniato), join the 429 state road (SS 429) towards Ponte a Elsa, Castelfiorentino, Siena. Follow the road for approximately 15 km until you reach Castefliorentino, from there follow the signs for Montaione (approximately 9 km).

From the south

Take the A1 Napoli - Milano motorway and take the exit for Val di Chiana - Sinalunga which is approximately 180 km from Rome, and follow the signs for Siena. Once you arrive in Siena, join the Auto Palio highway towards Florence and take the exit for Poggibonsi and follow the signs for Certaldo - Castelfiorentino.

Once you reach Castelfiorentino, follow the signs for Montaione for approximately 9 km.

Easy route

After the Firenze Signa exit (the exit after Firenze Certosa); join the Highway (Strada di Grande Comunicazione) Firenze - Pisa - Livorno (on the road signs, represented as "S.G.C" Fi-Pi-Li) towards Pisa. After approximately 26 km take the exit for Empoli Ovest (the exit after Empoli Est) and join the 429 state road (SS 429) towards Ponte a Elsa and Castelfiorentino. Continue for approximately 15 km towards Castelfiorentino, from here follow the signs for Montaione (approximately 9 km).

Once you reach Montaione, turn down the one way road on the right towards Piazza Gramsci, then turn right into Via Santo Stefano.

After approximately 3.3km on the main road, turn left on to the dirt track road which is between two small pillars and from here follow signs to the agritourism.

By train

The nearest train station is Castelfiorentino which is on the Firenze - Empoli - Siena line.

From Castelfiorentino, continue by bus or taxi to Montaione.

By plane
