General Description
The Alcove Luxury Resort dei Trulli is situated in the heart of Alberobello, capital of the Trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Located in the city’s main square, the resort is only a short walk from the main “Aia Piccola” and “Monti” quarters, the SS. Medici Basilica and the Trullo Sovrano.
The building is constructed entirely from trulli and originates from 1500 but restoration work was completed in 2009 by master stonemasons who have rejuvenated the “chianche” (stones) of the roofs and white walls of the trulli creating 9 guest rooms and consequently one of the most characteristic hotels of the Valle D’Itria.

Le Alcove’s rooms are dedicated to ancient trades such as “la Tessitrice” - The Weaver, “la Levatrice” The midwife, “il Cantastorie” The ballad singer and are all furnished with air conditioning, minibar, direct dial telephone, LCD colour satellite television, WiFi Internet access and en suite bathroom with shower or jacuzzi.
Almost all the rooms have an internal stone or wooden mezzanine with 2 single beds.

Follow the SS 16 towards Bari, take the Monopoli-Alberobello exit.
When you enter Alberobello, follow signs for “Le Alcove”.
From Taranto

By train
From Bari Central Station take the Ferrovie Sud-Est line to Martina Franca and alight at Alberobello. Once you reach Alberobello station, follow signs for “Piazza del Popolo” 200 metres away.
By plane
Bari Palese Airport is 55km away, from here take the shuttle bus to Bari Central Station and then follow directions as above.
Brindisi Airport is 75km away, we suggest you hire a car from here or book the Residence’s shuttle service.
