General Description
Muntaecara Albergo Diffuso is situated in Apricale, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, it became an "Albergo Diffuso" (hotel with accommodation distributed in different units throughout the town) to provide accommodation for those wanting to live the magic experience of "fit in" with the locals, and sample the genuine rhythms and quality of local life. From here guests can also go on long walks, demanding mountain bike rides, rafting or canyoning.
The rooms and apartments are spread within period buildings in the splendid village, conveniently located near the sea in Bordighera and Mentone and the characteristic principality of Montecarlo.
Guests are welcomed into a town characterised by the placement of the houses in concentric circles which surround the old castle. The dizzy maze of narrow streets is decorated with frescoes and murals by contemporary artists, also worthy of a visit are the many local crafts shops.
To check in, guests must go to the reception which is situated in number 2 Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Guests are provided with a welcome drink and useful information about the Liguria region and the Costa Azzurra and are then accompanied to their accommodation.

From the A10 Genova - Ventimiglia motorway,, take the exit for Bordighera. Continue towards Nervia along the SS 1 Aurelia state road. Continue straight on for 11 km along the Va Nervia provincial road until you reach Isolabona, then turn right and follow the train tracks which ascend into the valley to the side of the Merdanzo stream.
