By car
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Vladchiana exit. Immediately after the tollbooth, turn onto the E45 Siena – Perugia expressway, head towards Perugia, take the second exit at Cortona San Lorenzo, then follow the directions for Cortona.
Take the SS71 state road and head towards the town of Camucia until reaching the junction for Cortona. Take the SS71 state road towards Arezzo, exit at the residential centre of Camucia, continue for around 3 km and at the traffic light, turn right towards Località Tavarnelle di Cortona.
By train
The local railway stations are the Terontola – Cortona railway station (from Rome, Km 194, from Florence, Km 122), or the Camucia – Cortona railway station.
From both stations, buses and taxis are available to Cortona.
By plane
The local airports are:
