Villa Pozzi sorge a Riva Trigoso e si affaccia su un ampio golfo delimitato da punta Manara verso Ovest e da punta Baffe verso Est. Punta Baffe e Punta Manara sono a loro volta delimitate rispettivamente da Moneglia e da Sestri Levante. Nel centro del golfo sfocia il torrente Petronio, spesso in secca, che divide la frazione in due parti; la zona di Ponente è inoltre caratterizzato da un tipico e antico borgo ligure di pescatori.
La sua posizione strategica consente piacevoli gite nell'entroterra Ligure e lungo la costa, nelle vicine città di Genova, La Spezia e le toscane Viareggio e Pisa.
