Modern, clean, affordable!

The reception desk personnel spoke English well and were very helpful with the purchase of our 12-hr. bus/boat pass. It's very convenient to just swipe your ticket each time you board a bus or boat. You can choose longer ones too, if you're going to be there for more time. The Delfino is a nice hotel in Mestre, priced much better than in Venice-proper. And all you have to do to get to Venice is walk across the street and hop to hop on the bus. Delfino front desk gave us a very helpful map and circled the stops for us on it. It also has the bus and water taxi route numbers on the map...very, very useful. The Delfino is a sister hotel of the Hotel Ambasciatori right next door, and the Ambasciatori has a computer in their bar area you can use for free to print boarding passes, etc. We would recommend this hotel without a doubt.

The hotel is very hard to find. The walk to the train station is a little scary. Our friend's room had ants - Lots of ants. But it was inexpensive. Breakfast was nice.

Ho soggiornato per la seconda volta presso l'hotel Delfino e lo farò ancora in avvenire. É la soluzione ideale per visitare Venezia con l'autobus che, preso proprio davanti all'albergo, raggiunge Piazzale Roma in 10 minuti. I servizi dell'albergo sono ottimi a cominciare dalla ricca prima colazione per finire alle comodità dell'ampia camera. Nelle immediate vicinanze dell'hotel c'è un fornito supermercato e tutti i servizi necessari.
