Alternatively, take the A24 motorway to the L'Aquila Est exit and turn left towards Tempera – Paganica – Assergi – Funivia. After around 8km, turn right and follow the directions for Filetto.
From Pescara:
Take the SS17 state road towards L'Aquila and a few kilometres before reaching L'Aquila, turn right towards SR17Bis state road towards Paganica.
Continue towards Assergi – Funivia, cross the residential centre of Camarda and turn right onto Filetto.
From Teramo:
Take the A24 Teramo – Roma motorway to the Assergi exit. Turn left towards Paganica – L'Aquila and after 3km, turn left towards Filetto (5km away).
