This budget hotel has extra rooms in 2 other places, and that is where I stayed. For the first 2 nights I had a very dark room, with a window opening onto the stairwell and a strip of material for a curtain, so that there was no privacy if it was open. I asked to be moved and for the last 4 nights, I had a light and airy room, away from the centre of the town. Furniture was very basic, and the room needed new wallpaper or fresh paint, but it was quiet and private. Orta is a small town and so I expected better facilities for the price I paid. However, the restaurant was very good, breakfast was plentiful, and the staff there were extremely welcoming and pleasant.

Posto carino e confortevole. Ottimo il panorama, pulita la camera e sfiziosa la colazione! L 'unica pecca? Il Parcheggio, soprattutto perché se non si è fortunati, sono tutti a pagamento. La cornice del lago comunque è fantastica, merita!

Man sollte dieses Hotel nicht wegen der Zimmer (dunkel, aber ok) wählen, sondern weil man charmant mitten in der Satt wohnt und zum Frühstück auf die Piazza spazieren muss.
