The Castello di Cafaggio is an elegant colonial house found in Impruneta, nestled among the beautiful hills of Chianti next to a 14th century manor.
Surrounded by olive groves and old plants, this agritourism resort has four apartments, a double room and a small independent accommodation, all of which still maintain the fascination of a rural residence.
In the castle gardens, among lemon trees, almond trees and aromatic herbs, there is a spacious panoramic swimming pool where guests can relax and unwind.
The castle hosts tastings in the old olive press, cooking classes, receptions and concerts.

The Agriturismo resort has comfortable and fascinating accommodation able to meet any needs that guests may have.
- Ulivo three-room apartment for 4-6 people laid out on two floors; the ground floor includes a living room with a sofa bed for two, a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
The first floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
- Rose two-room apartment for 2-4 people (on the first floor) consists of a living room with a sofa bed for two, a double bedroom, a small kitchen and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
- Uva two-room apartment for three people (on the ground floor) consists of a double bedroom with a cupboard, a single bedroom and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
- Limoni one-room apartment for two people (on the first floor) consists of a double bedroom with a cupboard, and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
- Melograno double room (on the ground floor) is equipped with a minibar, a kettle, dishes and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
- Independent house measuring 30 square metres for two people with a kitchenette, air conditioning, a private garden and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
The house is located 100m from the castle surrounded by olive trees and vineyards.
Guests staying in the house can make use of all the facilities found in the castle.

A delicious breakfast is served in the elegant Art Nouveau style dining room of the castle.
The farmyard has a barbecue perfect for delicious lunches and for sampling products grown on the farm, including high quality extra virgin olive oil from Cafaggio.

By car
From the north or south:
- Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze - Impruneta exit. Turn right following the directions for Impruneta and after around 1km turn left before the intersection, then go through the town of Tavarnuzze; follow the directions for Impruneta and turn left (going uphill).
Upon reaching Impruneta go past the main square with the church and continue to the next square (Piazza Accursio da Bagnolo, used for parking).
Follow the directions for Ferrone, turn right, then right again and then take Via del Ferrone.
Continue for around 800m until reaching street number 58, enter the property and drive for around 500m until reaching the castle.
By train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella Station (12km away),exit to the left (with the tracks behind you) go past the pharmacy, cross the street, turn right at the traffic light and then take the first street on the left (Largo Alinari).
On the left hand side of the street, there is the Autobus CAP (blue or white) bus stop; take the bus to Impruneta (Via Bagnolo or Via Pozzolatico) with departures every 30 minutes.
Service is available Monday to Saturday from 6:30 to 20:30. On Sunday there are eight trips from 7:20 to 20:30 (tickets can be purchased from the office next to the pharmacy).
After 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the second square (after the main square with the church) or at the Presura stop.
By plane
The local airport is Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport.
