Fortezza Viscontea dates back to the 18th century and is situated in Cassano d'Adda and is centrally located between Piazza Garibaldi and the Adda river, in 10 hectares of fields and woodland, rich with ground water flora and fauna. From here guests are within reach of many places with discounted activities like the nearby boat club offering boat trips along the river, cycle tours, a tennis club and horse riding stables.
Guests are welcomed into splendid interiors decorated with frescoes painted by members of the Giotto school, guaranteeing guests a historic atmosphere, testimony to the famous guests who once slept here including Leonardo da Vinci.
The entire building is covered by free Wi-Fi access.
