Room was always clean and staff friendly. Easy access for the sites of Firenze. Good base for the train station if travelling to other cities and returning late same day. City noise noticeable but not too bad. Room had everything I needed and I was grateful for the air conditioning as temperatures reached 38 deg C daily.

The personnel was very friendly. We enjoyed very much our stay at Hotel Serena. Rooms are nice, very well located (close both to the rail station and the historic area of Florence). We would gladly recommend the hotel to our friends.

We received a very good welcome in a family atmosphere.
Breakfast was excellent.
Rooms and bathrooms very clean.
Big fresh towels!
Choosing a hotel near the station brings with it noisy streets - with a drop off point for tourist busses nearby, earplugs were necessary for a good night's rest.
Air-conditioner was not functioning.
