Alors que nous souhaitions passer un séjour calme, nous avons été accueillis en plein festival de musique qui avait lieu sur la place! Les décibels étant tels que nous n'avons pas pu dormir avant 3 heures du matin… nous devions reprendre la route le lendemain… Il nous semble qu'il aurait été correct que l'hôtel nous prévienne qu'une telle activité avait lieu! En connaissance de cause, nous n'aurions, de toute évidence, pas choisi cet hôtel! Cela a gâché notre plaisir de découvrir cette magnifique ville!

The hotel staff are all so friendly and helpful -nothing too much trouble. The location is perfect- 150 yards to the Church of Giovanni e Reparata with a Puccini concert every night of the year!! Rooms are lovely- all individual and there is a great sense of history about the building. My family wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lucca

Das Hotel hat eine Speisesaal für Frühstück, die hoffnungslos vollgestopft ist mit Tischen und Stühlen. Da die Tische auch mit d. Ecken zu den Durchgang hingestellt sind ist es sehr blöd und hindert die Gäste. Ich war 5 Tage da und nie war es mehr als halbvoll. Diese Anordnung und Enge nervt so ziemlich alle jede Morgen aufs Neue.
Kaffee soll sehr schlecht sein (ich bin teetrinker) und für Tee gibt es nur kleine Tassen, die für einen Teebeutel zu klein sind.
Das Hotel hat ein nettes Ambiente obwohl man merkt, daß es in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Im Bad ist die Dusche nicht genug von dem Rest des Bades abgetrennt, so dass Wasser überall hinspritzt.
Die Zimmer sind ok und kann man ganz verdunkeln.
Ich war im Zimmer 64 (Superior) mit Balkon und mit Blick zum Theater.
Ich würde wieder gerne kommen.
